We promote and protect the rights of the children in Rwanda in line with national and international human rights.

Who We Are

Helping Heart Family Rwanda is a youth-led non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 2021 by law students from the University of Rwanda alongside other passionate individuals. Our journey began in response to urgent social challenges in Huye District, with a strong commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals specifically: No Poverty, Good Health and Well-being, Quality Education, and Gender Equality.
Guided by persistence and a deep love for our community, we have grown into a legally recognized NGO, officially registered under the Rwanda Governance Board with Certificate No. 939/RGB/NGO/LP/10/2023, granting us legal personality. Our headquarters are located in Gasabo District, with an operational branch in Huye District.
Helping Heart Family Rwanda is dedicated to the promotion and protection of children’s rights, in line with Rwandan law and international human rights standards. We also integrate environmental stewardship into our programs, recognizing its critical role in ensuring a sustainable and inclusive future.
Our core mission is to:
• Promote access to quality education;
• Advocate for justice, gender equality, and the protection of children’s and women’s rights;
• Empower youth and communities to become active agents of positive social change.
